April is the perfect time to target inshore species like Spotted Seatrout around Bradenton, Manatee County, as the warming waters have the fish feeding aggressively. We met up at the 6398 Marina Way launch at 9:00 AM under partly cloudy skies, ready to chase some quality inshore action. As soon as we got the lines in, the fish started cooperating. We mixed it up, working a variety of techniques like jigging, baitcasting, heavy tackle, and light tackle to cover different depths and presentations.
